The Kawartha Lakes Flying Club (COPA Flight 101) Lindsay will hold their 7th Annual COPA For Kids event on Saturday June 23rd; rain date June 24th.

Kawartha Lakes Flying Club (COPA Flight 101) Lindsay will hold their annual COPA For Kids event on Saturday June 24, 2017, rain date Sunday June 25, at the Kawartha Lakes Municipal Airport, Lindsay.

The event is open to kids between the ages of 8 and 17 who have not flown before with COPA For Kids.

The Kawartha Lakes Flying Club (COPA Flight 101) Lindsay and the City Of Kawartha Lakes hosted the 150th Birth Of A Nation Tour at KLMA on July 3rd and 4th. The three replica WWI aircraft were part of the 100th Anniversary of Vimy Ridge in France.

Lynne Manning of Sturgeon Point was the silent auction winner of a Cessna 182 flight at the 2014 Kawartha Lakes Flying Club's Christmas Dinner/Dance. The plane was graciously donated by Jeff Chesher and piloted by Kawartha Lakes Flying Club member Jim Baldwin. Lynne Manning let her son-in-law Simon Aspinall and her two granddaughters Isabella and Charlotte enjoy the flight!
